MORNING STAR LANDINGS approved by the Village of Wauconda in February 2017

Over the course of the past two years my husband, Jay Bomberg, and I have been working on a development strategy for our land on Bangs Lake. It has been a labor of love as Bangs Lake in Wauconda has been our home for many years. We live only a stones throw from this property and have enjoyed the beauty of the lake and its surrounding amenities.

In February, the Village Board, provided our stamp of approval to develop our property in a two phase process. Phase One will include the construction of two custom beach houses on the 118 foot frontage of Bangs Lake. One home will be ours and we are seeking to sell the other lot with a custom home to someone else. Phase Two will include four single family semi-custom homes with lake access and piers included as well as a small commercial building on Main Street to someday house a Pilates and Yoga Studio.

Aside from the gorgeous eastern view of the lake, these two homesites will provide a tremendous opportunity to enjoy Bangs Lake up front and personal. Ever since purchasing this property with a long history of ownership and uses, we have been "imagining the possibilities." Since we adore lake living and actively canoe and kayak, we have enjoyed seeing the natural habitat on the far northwest side of the lake in the tranquility of the early morning hours along with the everyday magnificence of the spectacular sunrise. It is quiet and peaceful. In the afternoons and early evenings on the lake the sounds of great music from Dock's and Lindy's and the aroma of hamburgers on their grills entice us. Sunsets on the lake are joyful.

In the coming weeks our land, located just to the north of downtown Wauconda, will begin to experience the changes of our new development. We are so excited to see the beachfront and beach lots get prepared for construction. We anticipate

that the lot next to ours will be sold this season so both homes can be built in the summer of 2017.
